XS Engineering is owned and run by Dino Pourdjis. Dino started work in the electrical industry in 1985, in London, originally as an apprentice electrician. While working in the construction industry as an electrician he studied at night and on day release and achieved an HND in Electrical Engineering together with numerous City & Guilds qualifications, namely Design of Electrical Installations, Inspection/Testing and Verification of Electrical Installations and of course the BS7671 Wiring Regulations.

In 1992 he started his own company, XS Engineering which specialised in the inspection and testing of electrical installations and electrical installation design. This business thrived and over the next few years, over 1,500 properties where surveyed which enabled him to gain vast real life experience. Work was carried out for both small and large clients including Marks & Spencers, Balfour Kilpatrick, Sony, Virgin, Time Out, London School of Economics, The American School in London, to name but a few.

Dino is now based between London and Cyprus and travels regularly throughout Europe and the UAE where he carries out electrical installation design, general electrical engineering consultancy.
